An in-depth digital marketing strategy for Muir Homes, that is sustainable for the future

Muir Homes and Boxed Red started working together in 2014, initially just to work on Muir’s most prestigious development, Blairs. Since then, Muir enlisted Boxed Red’s help with their digital marketing activity and brand management, which included a sleek new website, an integrated digital campaign that commenced in 2016 and the general ongoing management of their website and brand.

A digital strategy for the future

Implementation of a digital strategy across all developments helped to increase visibility, engagement and overall awareness of the brand. From sales led to added value content, Boxed Red ensured consistency in delivering Muir Homes’ key sales messaging, yet at the same time ensured visual creativity. Maintaining coherence throughout all campaigns was key in order to solidify the brand now and in the future.

Boxed Red planned and executed a monthly digital marketing plan as part of Muir Homes’ overall integrated marketing strategy, which included social media, email campaigns, SEO and PPC, all of which helped to increase brand awareness, enquiries and engagement through the use of highly targeted creative content.

Adding Social Media to the Marketing Mix

With over a third of people checking social media over five times a day, including Facebook in the marketing mix was a priority to help consumers become more receptive to Muir Homes’ key messaging. A monthly social plan was developed and a mix of both sales led & added value content was utilised across Facebook each month, resulting in an upturn in website click-throughs and customer engagement.

97% of social advertisers choose Facebook as their most used and most useful social media platform.

A Christmas campaign

Boxed Red worked with Muir Homes to create a digital Christmas campaign, that as a result engaged more buyers and sold more new homes. The campaign involved creation of an interactive game which encouraged engagement whilst adding creativity and personality to the brand’s festive activities.
