Shelley gets the chop for charity

Our brave Strategic Client Manager Shelley O’Neill has had a drastic haircut, and donated the lengths to charity.

Shelley had an enormous 9 inches of her long hair chopped off, packed up and sent off to the Little Princess Trust.

This amazing charity uses hair donations such as Shelley’s to make wigs for lost their hair due to cancer treatment. Each of the wigs the Little Princess Trust make is worth around £2,000 and the charity gives these to the children, free of charge.

The kind stylists at Toni & Guy put Shelley at ease, taking pictures and styling what was left of her hair into a sleek bob.

Shelley said: “There are lots of ways that people can help the many charities working on cancer research and offering vital support to people touched by this disease, and when I heard about the Little Princess Trust, I thought it would be a great thing to do.

“I was a little nervous before the cut, but I just thought about the people I know who have lost their hair going through cancer treatment, and if they have to go without hair, I can chop a few inches off!”

We couldn’t be more impressed by Shelley’s donation and think her new hair looks fantastic.
