Preparing for how life will be after lockdown

Since the Prime Minister’s announcement that all non-essential shops can begin opening on the 15th June we at Boxed Red have looked at ways you can prepare for how life will be after lockdown.

Having called Knutsford our home for the past 11 years we have seen the wonderful local community come together during these challenging times. With the knutsfordhighstreet.com site we produced with Knutsford Town Council, more and more people have started to shop local and find businesses that they never realised existed.

COVID-19 is forcing businesses to adapt to change and offer an ‘alternative’ to their normal service. Knutsford businesses seem to have done this brilliantly in such a short period of time, with a lot offering ‘click and collect’ or ‘deliveries’, We can all agree that online shopping is becoming the norm and consumers seem to think they are getting the best price for a product. In fact Hal Whittaker, the independent toy shop which has served Knutsford since 1970 did a price analysis on outdoor toys compared to Amazon and they were significantly cheaper! This just shows you that online shopping might not always be cheaper.

As we gradually seem to be coming out of lockdown, the safety of everybody is the number one priority. We can design and source social distancing markers, tape and posters that will be ready in time for the 15th! Or if you want a new e-commerce site and some help with social media we can help! The team here at Boxed Red are committed to Knutsford and here to help you make a success of your business in the ‘new normal’.

We can’t wait to be back on a ‘Knutsford pub crawl’ and our MD Ruth is missing her cheese, ham and tomato toastie from The Market Cafe. Let’s keep going Knutsford!
